Cardiovascular Side Effects of Anticancer Drugs: How These Side Effects Should be Identified, Treated, and Followed up?

Abstract


The changes in cancer treatment and conditions of early diagnosis and treatment and the use of new anticancer drugs has substantially increased the rate of cure for cancer. For this reason, the number of people exposed to anticancer drugs has increased too. Taking this increase into consideration, in a way to make more emphasis on the new drugs, we evaluated the cardiac side effects of anticancer drugs, how these side effects should be determined and how the treatment of these side effects should be.
