Abstract | | | | One significant challenge with root canal treatment (RCT) is that many patients have a problem understanding what it actually is. It's crucial to investigate what factors might discourage patients from undergoing RCT and address these concerns effectively. This study aims to explore how adult patients perceive RCT and how their perceptions change before and after treatment. Additionally, we aim to understand how demographic factors may influence feelings of discomfort and anxiety. To achieve this, we conducted a survey among patients at various Dental teaching colleges and Hospital, seeking to gain a comprehensive understanding from the patient's point of view.
