Objective: This study aimed to investigate the factors influencing lifestyle behaviors, such as physical activity and smoking, among adults who attended the Wazarat Health Center (WHC) under Prince Sultan Military Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Methods: This was a cross-sectional observational survey-based study. The questionnaire included sociodemographic data, smoking status, and physical activity assessment using the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ). It also screened for anxiety and depression using a four-item patient health questionnaire (PHQ-4).
Results: The study included 372 adults, with a mean (SD) age of 37.21 (10.9) years. The majority (69.6%) met the WHO recommendations for physical activity. About one-third (33.5%) were smokers, and 43% reported moderate symptoms of anxiety and depression.
