Background: Mental health institutions are associated with poor quality of care and poor health outcomes. Inmost cases these have been attributed to inadequate human, infrastructure and financial resources.
Aim:To assess the quality of mental health delivery in a mental health hospital in Nigeria.
Methods: A cross sectional descriptive survey using cluster and simple random sampling techniques were employed. An 18- item questionnaire with four domains (Employee attitude and work process , Heavy workload, Management and supervision problems, Inadequate facilities) was used.
