ABSTRACT
Background: Apart from the
significant physical complications
which may arise as a result of road
traffic accidents, there may be a
profound adverse effect on mental
health. Due to a number of factors,
adolescents tend exhibit a higher
vulnerability to the psychological
impact of road traffic accidents
compared to adults. However, few
studies have examined road traffic
accident-related mental health
problems in adolescents
