In our hospital the first open heart surgery was done in March 2015 and is still beeing processed successfully since. Open heart surgery is a major surgical procedure challenging the anesthesiologist to be skilled and carefully during every stage. In this review we aimed to summarize properties of anesthesia for cardiovascular surgery in adults.
