Sexually Transmitted Infections and Protection in Soldiers

Abstract

Sexually transmitted infections (STI) are common and the prevalence is increasing all over the world. These diseases have a significant mortality and morbidity can be prevented. These diseases are seen in the age group of 15-35 is more intense sexual activity. Military population, the most advanced stage of sexual activation in the young adult group. In many countries, men in this age period have been recruited for a period of 1-2 years; the wives of married people separate staying for a long time, those that are not married are obliged to postpone their marriage. As a natural consequence of this circumstances, may increase the risk of STI.
