Abstract

This study aimed to determine salivary cardiac troponin I and cortisol hormone levels in primary school students to evaluate the cardiac response depending on age and gender variables. The sample of the study consisted of a total of 180 children, including boys and girls aged 8, 9, and 10 years old. The ELISA technique determined cTnI and cortisol hormone levels in saliva samples taken from the children included in the study.
