Abstract

Endometriosis is a term that describes the ectopic implants of endometrial cells that grow progressively. Endometriosis is commonly associated with several symptoms, such as chronic pelvic pain, dyspareunia, dysmenorrhea, and dyschezia. Endometriosis negatively impacts several aspects of women's lives, such as physical, social, and psychological aspects, and as a result, it has a great impact on the health-related quality of life (HRQOL). This review aimed to assess the HRQOL among women suffering from endometriosis by reviewing the previous studies conducted on this subject.
