Abstract
Expounded description of Yoga in Charaka Samhita is available in scattered form. One can find many references regarding
philosophical and applied concepts of Yoga in Charaka Samhita like Yoga Siddhi, Yogicharya, Hathayoga Siddhanta like
Vamana, Virechana, Basti etc. Present study is an insightful exposition to assemble this ancient heritage of life science in
prime text of Ayurveda- Charaka Samhita; which could be helpful to enlighten the correlation between Siddhanta of
Yoga and Ayurveda.
