Present study was designed to screen phytochemical constituents and antihyperglycemic activity of Heliotropium indicum (HI) in Streptozotocin (STZ) induced diabetic rats. Heliotropium indicum (Boraginaceae) whole plant is used as traditional medicine for a number of ailments including diabetes.
