Objective: To identify factors related with teenager preference toward health workers in implementing drug abuse prevention in health promotion.
Methodology: This descriptive cross-sectional study included 275 students who were selected simply randomly. The survey was conducted from June to August 2021 in six junior high schools in Bima. Data collection used a questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate analysis for frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the Chi Square test.
Results: Most of the respondents were 12-13 years old. The number of male participants is more than female. Most of the study sample lived in rural areas (52.7%) and the higher percentage had received counseling on prevention of drug abuse (64.4%).
