Cyclosporine is one of the main agents used in immunsupressive treatment after cardiac transplantation. Like cyclosporine, immunosuppressive agents targeting calcineurin inhibition, have been associated with psychotic symptoms, especially in the acute administration phase of these drugs. In this case report, we want to present an acute psychotic disorder case that we associated with cyclosporine and sertraline treatment, after 3 years follow up of cardiac transplantation and to discuss this case in the context of preparatory factors and treatment approaches.

Key words: Cardiac transplantation, cyclosporine, psychosis, sertraline
