Need of Safety in Ayurvedic Medicine

Abstract

As mankind progressed, the level of education increased many fold. People became more aware of their rights and well being, both. The doctor, who was considered equivalent to GOD and thus all his acts were considered sacred, became a mortal professional who could also make mistakes now and then. Accountability was sought in all spheres of life including medicine for which various legal and semi-legal forums evolved. Today we see many such cases against medical professionals wherein accountability is sought by the patients.
