This research was carried out to determine the state of affected by inflation, the attitudes towards money, evaluations on spending money of university students on 300 voluntary university students, in Ankara. Data were collected by using interview technique. Findings were analized depending on gender, age and family type variables. In the analysis of the questions, chi-square analysis was used. Moreover, in order to determine attitudes towards money of university students, answers given to sentences typed Likert were scored. Average scores were calculated to determine differences depending on the variables, t-test was applied. Results showed that attitudes towards money of university students were connected to selected demographic variables, especially age. Findings can be useful for financial planning and counseling services.
