Like many social scientists out of communication, Sabri Ülgener presented data, and made analysis, important for Turkish communication studies. These contributions would be assessed as direct and indirect framework. Ülgener, like social scientists out of communication did not research so that he could make a contribution on communication area. Given his data and analysis in the framework of Turkish communication studies, however, it could be seen these content important elements. This article aims to find out the contributions of Sabri Ülgener, who was actually an economist, to Turkish communication studies. lt dwells on the direct contribution of him. His indirect contributions are numerous to study in this article.
