In this study we attempt to document evidence on the degree of concentration of the Turkish manufacturing sector. Given the standard sectoral classification of the Input/Output Tables, we measure the degree of concentration using two criteria: the Hirfindahl indexes and the CRm ratios. We find that, over the period 1985-1993, concentration in the manufacturing sector was both intense and persistent.
