GLOBALIZATION, INCOME DISTRIBUTION AND DEVELOPING COUNTRIES

Oğuz ESEN.

Abstract
Cited by 0 Articles

Few doubt that we now live in a global economy. But there is little agreement among economists about the nature and implications of this globalism. This paper tries to answer the question: how mobile is international capital? In contrast to the prediction of 'global' capital mobility, there is a low degree of long-term capital mobility. This paper also argues the role of globalisation on wages and inequality in the developed and developing countries.
