The theory of export led growth has shaped the development policies of Turkey for rapid growth and efficient industrialization during 198Os. This paper analyses the results of "the Revealed Comparative Advantages Index" and "the Comparative Export Performance Index'' computed by State Institute of Statistics of Turkey. According, to this statistical results, both textile and food industries seem to appear the most efficient competitive ones.
