A Rare Case of Non-ruptured Giant Intramyocardial Right Ventricular Cardiac Cyst in a Young Girl Patient

Abstract

Cystic echinococcosis is a disease which often seen in the liver and lungs. Cardiac hydatid cysts are rare and usually remain silent until they become severely complicated, such as anaphylactic shock, systemic or pulmonary embolism. In this case report, we present our treatment approach for a giant hydatid cyst located intramyocardially in the right ventricle in a 16-year-old young girl patient.
