Effectiveness of interventional program on nurses' practice about chest physiotherapy techniques for patients with Corona virus disease

Abstract

Objective: To determine the effectiveness of an interventional program on the nurses' practice about chest physiotherapy techniques for patients with Corona virus disease and determine the relationship between nurses' practice and their socio-demographic characteristics.
Methodology: This quantitative quasi-experimental study was carried out at isolation wards of Al-Hussein teaching hospital in Al- Nasiriya city from June 2022 to February 2023. The sample was 41. We used a questionnaire to collect data.
Results: The effectiveness of interventional program was positive, and there were highly significant differences between pre and posttest in the sample study (p=0.001). There was not the relationship between nurses' practice and their socio-demographic characteristics.
Conclusion: The effectiveness of an interventional program was positive at a high rate and no relationship between nurses' practice and their socio-demographic characteristics.
