Abstract
This article describes the basic concepts of media literacy, role of information and communication technologies in media literacy and role of media literacy on students education. This article review different literatures which are published and available on different websites and it include research work of different scholars, books chapters and dissertations. The researcher finalized forty research articles for the review. The basic scope of the study is to identify the role of media literacy in 21st century.
