Effect of marital satisfaction on life satisfaction among infertile patients

Abstract

Objective: To examine the effect of marital satisfaction (predictor) on life satisfaction (outcome) among infertile patients.
Methodology: This study was carried out from June 2019 to February 2020 and Faisalabad and Lahore. We used purposive sampling technique. Infertile participants completed the Comprehensive Marital Satisfaction Scale (CMSS) that measured overall marital satisfaction and Life Satisfaction Scale (LSS) that helped to measure life satisfaction among them.
Results: In total, 160 infertile patients were included in sample with age range of 25 to 45 years. Gender differences showed that male patients were high on marital satisfaction and life satisfaction. Regression effect highlighted that martial satisfaction positively (β = .24, p
