Knowledge Level of High School Students on Hepatitis B - Eskişehir

Abstract

Aim: The aim of this study is to determine the knowledge level of high school students on Hepatitis B (HB).
Material-Method: This descriptive research was realized in 05 May to 29 June 2011 to students in total of 8 high schools in the Sivrihisar district center of Eskisehir city. Of 782 (65.1%) out of the total of 1202 students who are attending education in those high schools occurred the study group. HB is related to the 40 propositions were subjected to scoring; each correct answer, “1 point” was given to evaluation. Students with a score of 12.5 and above were accepted as “Sufficient of knowledge level on HB”. For analyses of data student t test and One-way Analysis of Variance were used.
