Transportation model and Assignment model play a crucial role in logistics and delivery sequence administration in order to reduce costs and time, as well as to improve the facility. Assignment problem is an important one while assigning a job to the employee. In this research, we present an efficient method for solving fuzzy assignment problems where the costs are triangular and trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. We convert the fuzzy assignment problem into an interval assignment problem using α – level cut methodology and TVAM has been applied to find an optimal solution. The proposed method is illustrated by numerical examples in detail.
