Abstract

Objective: To determine the difference in blood cell count in the pregnant woman during 7th and 9th month of pregnancy from Khairpur city.
Methodology: This experiment-based study was conducted at Kousar Hospital and Civil Hospital, Khairpur from from July 2018 to September 2018. A total 114 pregnant females with age range 20-50 years were included in the study. The blood samples were processed for CBC test by using CBC analyser sysmax xp100 machine. The Data were analyzed using SPSS and chi square test (single factor Anova).
Results: We found low hemoglobin level in 77 (68%) women of age between 20-35 and 37 (32%) women in the age between 36- 50 out of 114 pregnant women.
Conclusion: Hemoglobin level and number of platelets were decreased in pregnant women especially in third trimester.
