The purpose of present research is to adapt Constructivist Learning Environment Survey-CLES developed by Taylor, Fraser and Fisher (1997) into Turkish and test the validity and reliability of the scale. 619 students from primary education 6th, 7th and 8th grades have participated in the study. Subsequent to verifying the linguistic equivalence of scale, the validity and reliability analyses have been conducted via SPSS 15 and LISREL 8.5 programs. Cronbach-alpha reliability coefficient of scale has been detected as .847 and confirmatory factor analysis has been found to be compatible with the original form. Additionally, the scales corrected item-total correlations have been found to be varying between .334 and .547. The obtained findings suggest that adapted scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool.
