Metaphors are types of expressions that reflect our conceptual perceptions. They are important tools of our mental worlds in that they help individuals explain their lives, environments and the events and phenomena in their environments. To this aim, teachers’ perceptions of the concept of school manager were determined through metaphors. The sample of the research consisted of 106 teachers working in the city of Erzincan.
