Opinions of Principals and Teachers Working in Primary Schools about their Vocational Problems

Abstract
The aim of this research is to ascertain the professional problems of directors and teachers
of primary schools. In accordance with their personal views a written form was used to write down their
problems. In this research, 102 people were interviewed, 39 of whom were directors and 63 were
teachers. In order to analyse the data, the content analysis technique was used and opinions were aligned
under the themes determined by the frequency technique. According to the findings of the research,
directors and teachers stated, schools physical problems, the promlems stem from parents and social
environment, financial promlems of schools, problems related to audit and evaluation system, as the
fundemental problem fields of their profession.
