This research aimed to find about if there is a difference between the students learned
helplessness level and what they comprehend in the classroom atmosphere according to social-demographing
variables. A total of 530 students, from 9 school in 3 different social and economical statues participated in the
study. Learned Helplessness for Children, The Classroom Atmosphere Scale and A Personal Information
Form applied to students. Data were analyzed using statistical techniques. It is retained that there is a
significant relation between the students learned helplessness and classroom atmosphere. According to the
results this research, there is a significant relation between the level of learned helplessness and all the social
demographic variables which is used in the personal information forms.
