The purpose of this study was to develop a valid and reliable scale that could determine the views of high school students upon the gender equality. As result of performing the trial form prepared as including 45 items, two-factor 13-item Gender Equality Scale (GES) took its final form carrying out validity and reliability studies. Whereas one of the factors provided information on understanding that considers male as superior (UtCMS), the other factor provided information on understanding that subjects females to males (UtSMF). Cronbach Alpha internal consistency reliability level was determined as 0.889. As result of the analyses, GES was proved to be a valid and reliable tool that was possible to be used for collecting data in the studies to be carried out in the literature.
