Abstract
In this study, it was to examine teachers perceptions towards alternative assessment approaches with CHAID analysis. In this research, whether teachers perceptions towards alternative assessment approaches make a difference according to some variables has been examined. The factors that affect teachers perceptions towards alternative assessment approaches were determined by CHAID analysis which is thought as a type of cluster analysis. According to the research findings, there were differences in teachers perceptions towards alternative assessment approaches in terms of in-service training, enough time to use alternative assessment approaches, branch and gender. There are no significant differences in terms of education level and years of service.
