Bu çalışmada, Üçgensel Sayılar, Karesel Sayılar, Yamuksal Sayılar ve Dikdörtgensel Sayıların kavratılmasında görsel materyaller kullanılmıştır. Materyal destekli öğretim sürecinde kazanılan becerilerin kullanılması ile bir dik üçgenin kenar uzunlukları arasındaki temel bağıntı olan, Pisagor Bağıntısını görsel ispata dayalı olarak öğrenimine katkısı üzerinde durulmuştur.
