The Success of Primary School Administrators in Making The School Attractive to Parents to Contribute The Education

Abstract

The aim of this study is to clarify opinions of parents and primary school teachers as to primary
school administrators’ attracting parents to school. During the study which was performed in the spring semester
of 2006-2007 at primary schools, the method of “descriptive screening” was used. The sampling of the study was
determined as 315 teachers and 385 parents through “stratified sampling” method. The data which had been
collected was analyzed with the programme of SPSS 11.5. According result of the study, the success of primary
school administrators in making the school attractive to parents to contribute the education process is in “midlevel” in categories of “school applications” and “attendance of parents” within Denizli city center.
