Creative Drama Curriculum Related to the Scientists in Science and Technology

Abstract
In this study, life story and the contributions of famous scientists in science and technology are examined by means of creative drama as a teaching method. For this purpose, 15 hours creative drama curriculum was designed and the designed program was applied. This program was applied 15 hours on pre service science teachers for 5 weeks during fall semester in 2005-2006 education year. This study was designed as a single group pretest posttest experimental model. The qualitative analysis of data collected through the data collection instruments demonstrated that the participants acquired knowledge about the life story and the contributions of famous scientists and had opportunities to learn by acting and internalizing the concepts by using creative drama as a teaching method.
