Abstract
Bu makalede 1) TIMSSin ne olduğu ve nasıl yapıldığı açıklanmakta, 2) geometri bölümünde ne tür soruların sorulduğu ve bu sorularla öğrencilerin hangi tür bilgi ve becerilerinin yoklanmak istendiği irdelenmekte, ve 3) anılan bilgi ve becerilerin geliştirilmesi için öğrencilere ne tür etkinlikler yaptırılabileceği tartışılmakta ve etkinlik örnekleri sunulmaktadır.
