Knowledge of reproductive age women regarding placenta previa in Mosul City, Iraq

Objective: To assess knowledge about placenta previa among women of reproductive age in our community.
Methodology: This descriptive cross-sectional study was done in Department of obstetrics and gynecology, Mosul Teaching Hospitals. Data were collected by interviewing 208 women of reproductive age. A detailed questionnaire was used and consisted of demographic characteristics and knowledge of women toward signs and symptoms, risk factor, diagnosis and management of placenta previa.
Results: More than half of study sample (62.02%) had age between 15-26 years, most of them were housewives and had secondary education. There was statistically significant correlation between knowledge of women and socio-demographics, level education and women had history of placenta previa (p
