Abstract

The value of cold test in the diagnosis of Raynaud's Phenomena which is clinically presented with pallor, cyanosis and eventually rubor after emotional conditions or cold stimulation is important. There is not any standart parameter for to differ primary and secondary Raynaud's Phenomena. We performed segmental pressure measurements and photopletismographic digital pressure measurements in 50 patients complaining pain, pallor, cyanosis and rubor in their hands. After we evaluated the results we considered 24 patients as secondary Raynaud's, 15 patients as pri¬mary Raynaud's and 11 patients as normal individuals.
We suggest the use of segmental pressures, digital pressures, AN, anti-DNA and RF instead of only one parameter in order to distiguish secondary Raynaud's Phenomena than the primary one, since their accuracy in the diagnosis of collagen diseases.
