Abstract
Across the globe women entrepreneurs have been recognized as a key driver of economic development. They have the capabilities to produce new employment opportunities themselves and even spring up with solutions for societal problems. This paper aims to study the role of women entrepreneurs in the growth of Indian economy. The study also highlights the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in becoming key players of economic growth.
