Abstract
While corporations in technologically advanced countries such as the u.s.a. and the United Kingdom have used E-Commerce to their advantage, enterprises in developing countries like as India have not. Despite the fact that studies agree that E-Commerce adoption by businesses in developing nations is a key economic indicator of success, many Indian enterprises have yet to comprehend the potential benefits of E-Commerce. This research looks at the current state of Indian online shopping, assesses the literature on India's e-business adoption and suggests areas to be used in future research. The investigation could be used as a springboard for other e-business studies in the Indian subcontinent.
