Barbexoclone (Maliasin®) is an antiepileptic drug, which has been found to be effective in the treatment of epilepsy. Inpatient treatment seeking cases with the diagnosis of barbexoclone abuse accumulate. In this report, we presented 2 inpatient cases in an addiction treatment center with barbexoclone dependence. Also we discussed the non-medical use of prescribed drugs according to these cases.
