Abstract
Herbal medicine is widely used as alternative and complementary health practice. At recent years, the use of herbal medicine is increased in psychiatric practise. In this review it was mentioned in which conditions the herbal medicine were used, the adverse effects of herbals, the interactions between other drugs and the essential points were emphasized that the clinicians should keep in mind.
