An Acute Edematous Pancreatitis Case caused by Probably Hypertriglyceridemia: Case Report

Abstract
Hypertriglyceridemia is one of the non-biliary, eluding important causes of acute pancreatitis. Currently, there is no standardized protocol to treat these patients. We presented a case with acute edematous pancreatitis caused by hypertriglyceridemia in this case report. The patient, then, complicated with a pseudocyst in the pancreas and bilateral pleural effusion. We aimed to present this case with acute pancreatitis due to the probable hypertriglyceridemia and to show how one can handle these complications.
