The anxiety of family with a family member who is admitted to the hospital is caused by the fear of death, especially in the intensive room. The other causes are unsuccessful medication, complications, and cost problems. Because of it, nurses must have the ability to apply therapeutic communication techniques to overcome the anxiety of the family patients.
