Breast Self-examination (BSE)

Abstract

Performing breast self-examination once a month could save your life. Many breast cancer are discovered by patients who had regularly done self-exam and thus were able to distinguish a change from what is normal in their breast. If you are still menstruating, examine your breast right after your period ends. If you have reached menopause, pick a day of the month that is easy to remember.
