The main aim of this work is to estimate the Turkish health expenditures equation for the period of 1961-1992. While estimating the long run term equation of the health expenditures, the techniques of multicointegration of Johansen are used. In addition to the short run dynamic adjusment equation, the error correction model of health expenditures is used. In this study, it is observed that the variables are cointegrated and have a cointegrated vector. It is found that the per capita income and the population are the important factors which influence the health expenditures in the long run (1961-1992).
